Union County is located in the Southeastern part of the state with equal distances to Dayton to the North and Cincinnati, Ohio to the South. On the map it is between Interstate 70 to the North and Interstate 74 to the South. Union County has a Farm Bureau membership of over 500. We have a voting membership of 312. Union County has about 268 farms and 82,500 acres in farmland according to the Indiana Agricultural Statistics Service. Our small county ranks 91st in population with 6,976 people. We rank 88th out of 92 counties in the number of farms, but 76th in farm income. Farm Bureau is very active in Union County. The board and members are always creating innovated activities and services to promote Farm Bureau and to improve Union County.
